I came up with these little posies tonight...
They do look like simplified cherry blossoms, without the litttle points on the petals, but I think I want something a bit more lacey. we'll see what else I can figure out I guess, don't know how I would attach them either...
Here's one with the yellow/green center, and one without. The first pic is the most accurate color:
I think I want something more open though, still fussing with it. don't know how to join them together either...
Also tonight I just started a variation on the Strawberry knit purse from craftster :)

That pink yarn is really pretty--it's made out of wood pulp? What WILL they think of next?
In response to your comments over at my blog (what is appropriate etiquette for replying to blog comments? eh.)
-for the blue tank top, the pattern is out of a "Make it with Mademoiselle" book from the 60s and I used *gasp!* Red Heart Soft Baby in blue.
-for the Adrienne Vittadini lace cardi--the pattern calls for 10 balls of AV "Dianna" which is 50% cotton, 50% microfiber (and expensive!) but I think 6 skeins of the Lily (100% cotton, 184yds/sk) should suffice for the sweater. I bought it at Smiley's Yarns in Queens. Now if only I can hold off on starting new projects until it's finished!
I love that pink yarn! where did you get it? I live in Tokyo, Toshima-ku. I'm a beginner, I barely can make a straight scarf at this point, but I like just having something to do with my hands!

Thanks for visitingme. Hey, I think that these flowers are awesome actually, I like them very much.
those flowers came out great. you keep finding amazing yarn over there. i either need to get there now or we need to do some sort of pen pal swap thing
yahaira, Thanks for your comment :) yeah, my LYS has some cool stuff, but they lack stuff like Lamb's Pride! Also, everything comes in tiny tiny balls, even acrylic is about $1.75 for only about 50 yards!
I usually only buy stuff when it's on sale...
p.s. it won't let me see your profile or your blog :(
aww that should be fixed now :)
I hate when I get yarn and I didn't realize it was only 50 yards! I never know what to do with that amount...I'm telling you swapping....:P
